Fantech’s smallest and most compact side duct connection HRV, the SH 704 unit brings a continuous supply of fresh air into a home while exhausting an equal amount of contaminated air. During winter, fresh incoming air is tempered by the heat that is transferred from the outgoing air so you save on energy costs, while during summer, the incoming air is pre-cooled if the house is equipped with an air cooling system. The SH 704 is equipped with automatic defrost mechanisms so you can use your HRV all year long. The average air flow at .2″ Static Pressure is 88 while average air flow at .4 Static Pressure is 58. This models has a 7 year limted warrenty on the motor, 5 years on electrical components and a lifetime limted warranty for the core. The “Core” refers to the internal component which is the removable core of the HRV / ERV performance. (HRV’s use an aluminum core that transfers heat from the exhaust airstream to the incoming airstream and ERV’s use a different core that transfers heat and moisture from the incoming air to the outgoing air.)
